John Cena welcomes the Middle East viewers to dive into 'Shark Week' this summer on Discovery and discovery+ with a dedicated pop-up channel on OSNtv.
Discovery Channel’s annual event, Shark Week, has made its summer return. Hosted by John Cena, this year’s programming will feature encounters with apex predators and epic deep-sea expeditions. Cena will guide viewers through the new lineup and preview each night’s highlights, including interviews with beloved shark experts. The event kicks off on Monday, July 15, at 22:50 pm.
“I usually do Shark Week from my couch – with lots of snacks, but this year I’m beyond excited to host the week dedicated to the endlessly fascinating, action heroes of the Ocean,” said John Cena. “It’s a wild week of shocking new footage, new discoveries, and lots and lots of teeth.”
The week-long celebration of sharks will feature several standout programmes, including the next chapter of the hit show Jaws vs Leviathan, which delves into the rivalry between orcas and sharks; Alien Sharks: Ghost of Japan, which follows the endangered Angel Sharks in Japan’s seas; and Great White Serial Killer: Sea of Blood, investigating a massive shark terrorising a local village.
Viewers can tune in to Shark Week content on Discovery Channel via OSNtv channel 50, BeIN channel 201, and Jawwy TV channel 205. The content will also be available for streaming on discovery+ via STC TV/JawwyTV. Additionally, a dedicated pop-up channel on OSNtv, ‘Discovery Shark Week,’ will be available starting Monday, July 15.
