Discovery Networks recently acquired Middle Eastern food channel has announced its Ramadan programming schedule.
Fatafeat will be taking the pressure off this Ramadan season by serving up a tasty menu of four brand-new series from the channels most well-loved chefs, featuring short recipe solutions and culinary techniques to entertain and inspire even the most time-pressed housewife.
Beginning on Monday 24 June, the Ramadan schedule includes a new series from Chef Houria Zanoun who returns for a fifth season of her hit show Houriat Al Matbakh. Chef Mohammad Orfali will be back, showcasing the best of Arabic cuisine in his own unique and modern way in Matbakhna Al Arabi. Fatafeats very own singing chef, Tarek Ibrahim, chooses meat as his new challenge in 100 Lahma; while Chef Nermine Hanno returns this Ramadan with even more mouth-watering deserts in another series of Wala Bil Ahlam.
Alongside this line-up, viewers can expect the best of Fatafeats regular schedule, giving something for everyone during the Holy Month.
James Gibbons, Country Manager and SVP, Emerging Business, Discovery Networks CEEMEA said: Discoverys acquisition of Takhayal Entertainment and its flagship brand Fatafeat was incredibly exciting for us, marking our first investment in the Middle East and significantly growing our portfolio across the region. Securing Fatafeats continued success in the Middle East is crucial as it provides us with the perfect opportunity to take Discoverys female-targeted lifestyle content even deeper into the marketplace.
Darine El Khatib, Head of Channel for Fatafeat said: Were gearing up for the Ramadan season with four new shows packed full of quick and simple recipe ideas from some of our most popular and famous chefs. As usual, our slogan for Ramadanis Ramadan Ala el Bab (Ramadan is around the corner) and our entertaining and informative programme line-up will ensure our viewers feel inspired and ready in the run-up to the Holy Month.
