Advanced Media Trading (AMT) and DJI unveiled the new Mavic Air drone on January 27, 2018 at the Sanad Academy in Dubai’s SkyHub campus.
The launch event was conducted by Pejman Ghorbani, DJI’s Senior Product Manager from AMT. Mansour Al Balushi from Sanad Academy and Michael Rudolph from Dubai Civil Aviation Authority spoke about the rules and regulations of flying drones in the UAE; as well as, how to register the drones and get the licence through the Sanad Academy.
Two guest speakers, Huda Bin Redha and Peter Jay Tacbobo, who had used DJI Mavic Air prior to the product launch, shared their experiences about the new product.
The event saw more than 200 filmmaker and hobbyists, among others, attending the launch with one lucky winner going home with a new DJI Mavic Air.
