'Daredevil: Born Again' launches exclusively on Disney+ on March 5.
Dubai has been transported to the gritty streets of Hell’s Kitchen as Disney+ hosted a premiere for Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again. Guests stepped into an immersive experience, navigating shadowy alleyways, graffiti-covered walls and scaffolding before settling in to watch the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk (Kingpin).
Fans and critics alike raved about the event’s authenticity and atmosphere.
Film and TV critic Nadim Safieddine (Nad’s Reviews) described it as an unforgettable experience, and said: “As a diehard Daredevil fan, the Disney+ premiere for Born Again in Dubai was unforgettable. The on-point activations, the moody, red-drenched vibes, and most important of all: the crazy enthusiasm from the fans made the experience worthy of Hell’s Kitchen. The cherry on top? The first two episodes that we got to see featured epic action, our favorite lovable characters, and some bold twists that have me so pumped for the reason of the season.”
The premiere left audiences on edge, with reactions flooding social media as fans praised the show’s darker tone, gripping performances and immersive storytelling.
“It’s official – Daredevil: Born Again is my new favorite Marvel Television show. I was so excited to see the first two episodes at the Disney+ premiere in Dubai, and within the first few minutes I was hooked. I can’t wait to see what Marvel is going to do this season!” – Ahmed Al Nasheet, Media Personality and Content Creator.
In Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
Viewers be warned. This title is rated 18+ and is not suitable for young audiences, or the faint hearted. According to showrunner Dario Scardapane himself, and citing his recent comments to Empire Magazine: “The level of violence is way up there for a Marvel/Disney show,” he says. “I don’t think there’s anything else even in the ballpark.”
