The event acts as a bridge between those who want to tap into the MENA content market and the regional players.
Dubai International Content Market (DICM) is returning next week with a lineup of participants for the 2019 edition, including Warner Bros, Viacom, A+E Networks or Inter Medya.
The event’s format, built on recent industry changes, updates and cancellations in the MENA region, was well received by international content professionals last year and additional improvements are expected to be unveiled in the upcoming edition.
The event acts as a key bridge between those who want to tap into the MENA content market and the regional players by offering a platform for buying, selling and co-producing content.
The DICM facilitates a business-to-business experience, inclusive of exhibiting solutions, networking assistance and exclusive screenings.
The 2020 edition will take place on December 7 and 8 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel Conference Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Commenting on the event, Vlad Borovina, Project Manager for Dubai International Content Market said: “Everyone is talking about how the industry is changing and if we want to consider ourselves as part of it, we also need to adapt. That’s why we had to find unique concepts and solutions that suit the needs of both buyers and sellers. The days of spending great amount on sponsorship are behind us. Nowadays, everyone is interested in networking and business-making. That’s why we came up with our ‘Plug & Work’ concept which allows content distributors to remove the stress of having to plan and set up for an event. Our solution is simple – book your stand and the rest is on us – from logistics to matchmaking with relevant buyers.”
