The annual festival showcases the rich culture and creativity of motorcycling through a captivating selection of films, documentaries, and shorts. It draws motorcycle enthusiasts and film lovers from across the globe for an unforgettable event. The 2024 Dubai Motorcycle Film Festival is set to take place at Warehouse Four, offering an exciting lineup of motorcycle-themed films, the DMFF Bikers BBQ, plus an exciting showcase from the death-defying riders in the Danger Globe. The film lineup for this year’s edition includes homegrown productions The Piston King and From Sand to Salt.
The Piston King is a documentary based on the time veteran bike rider Marco Möller lived in Dubai. Palestinian director Mazen Alhaj Salem puts the spotlight on Marco and his philosophy behind MOTO Rauch & Staub – the motorcycle cafe Marco opened in Dubai.
Led by one of Dubai’s best known custom bike builders, From Sand To Salt is a short documentary from UAE based director, Tom Richardson, that follows the exploits of the indomitable Alan Boyter in his quest to build a bike that will take a land speed record on the salt flats of Bonneville, USA. Other films in the showcase include While We’re Here andLa Petite Moto Rouge.
