Dubai Racing Channel airs live broadcasts of meetings from Jebel Ali and Nad Al Sheba, including the 11 Dubai Racing Carnival meetings and the showpiece event and worlds richest race, the Dubai World Cup which takes place this year on Saturday 30th March, 2013.
Other major meetings to broadcast live and exclusive on Dubai Racing Channel include those from Sha Tin, Hong Kong, featuring the Group One Champions Mile and Queen Elizabeth II Cup races in April and May.
Mohamed Youssif, CEO of YahLive, said: Nothing beats true high definition television for providing a deep, immersive being there experience, and it perfectly captures the thrill of speed, colour and motion in horse racing. Dubai Racing Channel is a wonderful addition to YahLives Home of HD, and builds on our existing partnership with DMI to offer a variety of channels in true HD to keep all the family entertained.
Launched in July 2008 and broadcast around the world in standard definition, Dubai Racing Channel also offers a wide range of world-class equestrian programming including endurance runs and show jumping. Live camel race meetings also complement the live horse racing.
