Dubai Studio City introduced its services and facilities at the just-concluded National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show 2018 in Las Vegas, US.
A senior management delegation from Dubai Studio City, led by Majed Al Suwaidi, MD; and Khadija Al Bastaki, Business Development Manager participated at NAB to explore collaboration prospects with US businesses seeking to expand to the Middle East.
Commenting on Dubai Studio City’s participation, Al Suwaidi said: Our presence at the event reflects our ongoing efforts to reach out to relevant businesses operating within our region and beyond. The exhibition provides us with an ideal opportunity to engage with like-minded entities, exchange ideas and share best practices.
Dubai Studio City is currently home to more than 300 companies in the entertainment industry, including some Fortune 500 organisations, and seeks to continue expanding its reach.”
He added: According to Arab Media Outlook 2016-2018, the gaming industry in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region is surging exponentially, with revenues expected to cross $1 billion by 2018. This makes it a key sector of interest for us to focus on.
At present, there are more than 70 US companies in Dubai Media City, Dubai Studio City and Dubai Production City, the release stated.
