Egyptian actress Nelly Karim will star in an upcoming film based on an Egyptian airstrike in Libya against the Islamic State, titled El-Serb (The Squadron).
Karim, starring as a hostage in the film, is scheduled to start filming within the next few days, as director Ahmed Nader Galal announced wrapping up other scenes in the movie.
The official teaser of the movie El-Serb was released a while back and immediately gathered millions of views. It features Ahmed al-Saka, Qusai Khouli, and other celebrities.
The promo contains a speech by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, in which he ordered to carry out a qualitative operation to bomb ISIS sites in the city of Derna in Libya.
Saka, Sherif Mounir, Aser Yassin, Karim Fahmy, Ahmed Hatem, Diab and Mahmoud Abdel-Mughni, appear in the promo, and the scenes show the Air Force’s pilots in retribution for the martyrs of Egypt in Libya.
