Brazilian directors Pedro Tejada and Josep Pardo shot the film across a number of locations in Dubai over four days.
Mastercard has launched a campaign that focuses on innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability as the official payments partner of Expo 2020 Dubai. The film was done in collaboration with Singapore-based film production company electriclimefilms, who partnered with creative agency Craft WW to showcase Mastercard’s level of advancement at the global event.
Spanning over four days in Dubai, the film was shot across an array of locations; from the beautiful views of Ajman’s mangroves to the Expo site itself.
These locations served as beautiful backdrops while viewers followed a host of characters of all ages and nationalities. From parents and children to grandchildren and grandparents, Pedro Tejada and Josep Pardo, the international directors from Brazil, captured the togetherness of Expo and its celebration of diversity.
Alongside onsite shooting, the use of projectors and holograms at a studio, with the addition of CGI during post-production encapsulated the futuristic and technological feel of the Expo 2020 Dubai vision and Mastercard’s advancements.
