EMG/Gravity Media, a major player in production, content, media services, and facilities, has announced the appointment of Martyn Edwards as General Manager for the Middle East region. In his new role, Edwards will be crucial in harmonising operations, driving synergies, and spearheading strategic initiatives across the Middle East.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Edwards brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to EMG/Gravity Media, particularly in production management and technical/engineering delivery roles. Having joined EMG in 2015, he was promoted to Project Director in 2022.
Since 2007, EMG/Gravity Media has maintained a permanent operation in Qatar, catering to the growing demand for live sport, entertainment, esports, conference, and cultural event coverage across the region. Most recently, the team played a pivotal role in Qatar 2022, providing the host stadiums with the necessary broadcast and communications infrastructure for this large-scale, high-profile event.
