EUROSTAR Group revealed that more than 500,000 units of its MPEG4-DVBS2 range of high definition (HD) satellite receivers have been sold in the Middle East and North Africa region in the last three months. The satellite receivers will be the focus of Eurostars stand at CABSAT 2012.
The EUROSTAR booth will also highlight products and services from PACE, Red Bee Medias new RedDiscover portfolio of discovery solutions built around the needs of platforms and content owners and SmarDTV solutions from Kudelski.
Our participation at CABSAT 2012 will allow us a strategic opportunity to promote the advantages of using our new HD MPEG4-DVBS2 satellite receivers. According to EUROSTAR, the High Definition MPEG4-DVBS2 range has the scanning capability of storing over 3,500 pre-programmable channels and an auto-satellite program function with scanning option. These units also have an NTSC, PAL and SECAM output function, a 256 colour graphics user interface, an auto, manual and advanced programming search function and key parental controls for channel locking. This HD range also allows users to schedule recording of programmes on any external hard drive or USB playback device and supports media formats like mpg, mpeg, dat, avi, mov, iso, MP3 and MP4.
