Egyptian-British actor Fady El-Sayed is set to star in the upcoming Netflix dark comedy series Kaos, as well as the third season of HBO’s Industry.
In Kaos, El-Sayed plays a key role in a series rooted in ancient Greek mythology, where characters confront an age-old prophecy while dealing with the corrupt and arrogant Greek gods. Created by Charlie Covell, known for The End of the F**ing World, the show boasts a star-studded cast including Gary Oldman, Jeff Goldblum, Janet McTeer, Cliff Curtis, David Thewlis, Cillian Scott, Debbie Mazar and Aurora Perrineau.
El-Sayed will also return in the third season of Industry, continuing his exploration of the high-stakes world of banking and trading through the eyes of young employees navigating the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. Created and directed by Mickey Down and Conrad Kay, the series stars Myha’la Herrold, Ken Leung, Marisa Abela and Harry Lawtey, with new additions Sarah Goldberg and Kit Harington.
Additionally, El-Sayed will reprise his role as “Faz” in the third season of Gangs of London, an American-British production by Sky Studios, AMC Networks and Pulse Films. He will also appear in the Apple TV series Slow Horses.
Fady El-Sayed began his acting career with a standout performance in My Brother the Devil, which earned him a nomination for Best Emerging Talent at the London Film Festival. His career has since flourished, with notable roles in international projects such as Penny Dreadful, River, Baghdad Central, Little Bird and films like A Private War and Daniel.
