The culinary competition will air weekly on Fatafeat, Jawwy TV and OSNtv.
Warner Bros. Discovery’s Arabic food network, Fatafeat, has announced its latest culinary competition series, Master or Disaster. The show, hosted by Firas Kazma, pits two chefs against each other in a high-stakes battle of creativity, skill and precision.
In Master or Disaster, each challenge spans two episodes. The competing chefs are tasked with crafting a menu for their rival, which they must then serve in a bustling restaurant environment. Racing against time and the expectations of discerning diners, the chefs aim to generate the highest revenue and earn top reviews. The competition will determine who emerges as the ultimate culinary master and who faces a disastrous outcome.
The show features a diverse lineup of talented chefs, including Chef Marwan Sardouk, known for his fusion of traditional Middle Eastern flavours with modern techniques; Chef Katlego Mlambo, whose culinary journey is deeply influenced by his South African heritage; Chef James Knight, a veteran with over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry; Chef Kholoud Ahmed Suhail, a Saudi culinary expert with a decade of food catering experience; and Chef Mohammad Salah, a renowned chef and Director of Menu Creations at Chefs’ Studios.
Master or Disaster premiered on August 29, 2024, and airs weekly on Fatafeat (beIN channel 251), Jawwy TV (channel 54) and OSNtv (channel 25) at 12:25 AM KSA. The series is also available for streaming on the discovery+ library of STC TV, ensuring viewers can catch all the culinary action.
