As part of an agreement between Turkish children’s entertainment company, Fauna and MOBY Group, "Kukuli" will be launched in Central Asia, East Africa, and the MENA region.
As a part of an agreement between MOBY and Fauna Entertainment Kukuli, Turkey’s first branded cartoon will be available in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Somalia, and other MENA countries in days to come.
The series which is the first animation feature for MOBY and will be translated in 13 languages spoken in the region. These include Farsi, Pashto, Uzbek, Urdu, Amharic, Somali and various other local languages.
The animated series and the songs will broadcast on the various TV and digital platforms owned by MOBY Group.
Commenting on the series, Emre Aksoy, CEO of Fauna Entertainment, stated that after success in India, China, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Serbia, Poland, USA, and the UK, Kukuli will be released in five more countries.
Kukuli is the first Turkish animation by MOBY Group to be broadcasted in Afghanistan and Ethiopia’.
Aksoy added: “Kukuli’s success in Turkey and worldwide has grabbed the world’s attention, and through MOBY we have been given the opportunity to introduce the character to more children. MOBY will be introducing a Turkish cartoon for the very first time in Afghanistan and Ethiopia. This is a source of great pride for us as the honour, and the privilege belongs to Kukuli. If Kukuli in any way can help kids expand their imagination, acquire useful information while having fun, then we consider our job done.”
Kukuli ranks as one of the most popular YouTube channels in Turkey, with over a million subscribers. It is one of the top five fastest-growing pages on Facebook worldwide with over 2m page likes.
