Turkish children’s entertainment company Fauna Entertainment has self-financed a musical preschool series Moi & Lana and is exploring for additional funding partners to complete the 2D animation project.
The 52 x two-minute series is described as an epic musical adventure that follows the main characters Moi and Lana as they traverse the globe in search of the most popular local kids’ songs from all over the world.
Moi & Lana is slated for a digital-first launch in late 2023, and the studio is already talking to a number of linear broadcasters about presales.
In order to create a soundtrack that is authentic and accessible, Fauna collaborates with local musicians from all the countries featured in the series to record new, bilingual versions of the songs in both English and their native local language.
