The aim of Last Floor Productions is to create stories from and about the Arabs and Arab world.
Last Floor Productions (LFP), an Arab production company, founded by three young artists and entrepreneurs, has partnered with Shahid for the production of two series as well as with Apple in India to produce its launch films, while it is currently working with the Victoria & Albert Museum in London to produce films for the Jameel Prize.
The production startup was founded in 2019 with a focus on the creation of character-driven genre fiction. The aim is to create stories from and about the Arabs and Arab world that are compelling to a new generation of viewers inside and outside the region. Accordingly, they have created LFP to be the home of scriptwriters, producers, musicians and filmmakers.
They not only produce films and television, but emphasize intellectual property creation through high-quality screenwriting.
The works of LFP allow viewers to explore a wide spectrum of social, cultural and personal issues that are often only treated through the lens of niche high-brow cinema or mass-market soaps, leaving an enormous market gap for quality, accessible entertainment. With this approach, the team at LFP is always on the lookout for new opportunities to take Arab culture worldwide, with the aim of training and hiring young talent that has similar goals and aspirations.
