DMI has announced the launch of the first football sports reality show in the Arab world titled The Victorious. The show will be aired soon on Dubai TV and Dubai Sports channels. The show aims to bring together young Arab talent with famous world football stars, such as football legend Diego Maradona and global star Salgado.
Commenting on the initiative, Ali Khalifa Al Rumaithi, Director of Dubai TV spoke about the importance of providing a real opportunity for Arab talent to emerge, excel and be known internationally through a professional programme that monitors the beginnings of first steps to inspire the young generation across the Arab world, he said: “At every stage we strive to be a compass of success towards a new path in the Arab TV media, we have succeeded over the years through a selection of successful programs on DMI channels, in the consolidation of renewable media vision contributed to providing the public with meaningful and useful media content testimony of all – today, we are taking our new step toward dedicating new and different model of meaningful reality TV.”
Al Rumaithi added that the show will be filmed in Dubai Sports City as a first logistical production. He stressed that the new programme will rank among the best shows in terms of the concept, preparation and production.
Al Rumaithi spoke about the primary objective of the launch of this programme, which is the first international sports academy, launched in association with Victorious Production LLC. The academy will be instrumental in scouting new sporting talent.
The Victorious will also highlight the main sports features in the UAE, through the inclusion of a series of activities and events of the participants’ training programmes. The weekly episodes will also follow the daily activities and training under the supervision of a group of trainers in the field of health, nutrition and fitness and all aspects experienced by professional players. Each week, the show will host an Arab or international football star, in addition to the presence of a group of professional trainers and supervisors, led by Diego Maradona.
