The selected films include Hollywood Gate (documentary) by Egyptian filmmaker Ibrahim Nash’at, No Other Land (documentary) by Basel Adra and Yuval Abraham, anthology From Ground Zero (international feature) led by Palestinian filmmaker Rashid Masharawi, and An Orange from Jaffa (live-action short film) by Mohammed Almughanni.
The ceremony will be held on March 2 at the Dolby Theatre, Hollywood. Final nominations will be revealed on January 17.
