IndiaCast has announced that the fourth edition of COLORS CricQuiz is all set to premiere on Colors TV on Sunday, March 26th.
The auditions conducted last month saw a huge footfall with more than 500 cricket fans in teams of two queuing up to showcase their knowledge about the game of cricket. The top 15 teams thus selected will now be seen contesting with each other on national platform over a period of eight weeks. The winning team will receive an all-expense paid trip to the Lords Cricket Stadium in London.
Commenting on putting together another successful season of the show, said Sachin Gokhale, Senior VP and Business Head Middle East, Africa and APAC: “At IndiaCast, we persistently work towards creating content that is sought after by our local audiences. The passion for cricket amongst South Asian expats in this region is enormous and we were thrilled to see the turnout during auditions for the fourth consecutive season of CCQ. We have always received overwhelming responses during the CCQ auditions making it one of our best and highly demanded local TV shows. I also thank our sponsors who have associated with us in this endeavour to make this a win-win proposition.”
COLORS CricQuiz is considered to be one of the most definitive cricket quizzing championship on television in the region, he added. The show challenges and tests the knowledge of the smartest and most ardent cricket enthusiasts. The show will air every Sunday at 8pm on Colors with repeats on Friday 1pm and Saturday 8pm.
