As an official Sponsor of the 16th Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA), du will broadcast the competition free-of-charge to its du TV customers for the third consecutive year.
The DIHQA, sponsored by the Dubai government, is an annual award given for the memorisation of the Holy Quran, and includes a multitude of other ceremonies and activities aimed at confirming and celebrating Islamic values.
Dubai International Holy Quran Award channel can be watched for free on dus dedicated channel 709 by its customers. Live coverage 24/7 will start from the first day of Ramadan and continue for 20 days. The live broadcast will be provided through dus Jebel Ali teleport in Dubai, and beamed courtesy Intelsat through their satellites Intelsat 10, Intelsat New Dawn and through dus capacity on Nilesat.
