The free OTT service will be available from mid-April 2021 with content in multiple languages and genres.
Fun Asia has launched its Big Fan TV app, which is reportedly the region’s first free South Asian OTT service offering the largest library of content in multiple languages and genres.
The app will include a new line-up of shows, movies, serials, soaps, documentaries, podcasts and live audio, offering over 10,000 hours of free content, with a primary focus on the South Asian community. The app will also include services in multiple South Asian languages with more to be added over time.
Speaking about the launch, Sam Thakkar, CEO of Fun Asia said: “Big Fan TV is going to transform the cinematic experience and give audiences across the world outstanding content free of charge, which is a first for many regions.”
Fun Asia has also announced plans to expand by the end of the year with five new business verticals including Radio Vision, Fan Films, Instore Radio, Fan Events and Digital Performance.
