Companies from the world of production have been in Saudi Arabia over the last week to attend Hakaya Misk 2019, an initiative by the Mohammed bin Salman Charitable Foundation.
Attendees have explored the film industry journey through three main phases: Pre-production, production and post-production. Several workshops, speaker platforms, and virtual shooting sites were organised with participation from local and international production companies.
The event includes sections on the preparation for production, pre-production, production and beyond with media tales, tech stories, discussion sessions, and movie screenings.
Ziyad Al-Shibl, project manager of Hakaya Misk, commented that this year’s edition specifically focuses on interactivity with visitors, so they have the opportunity to move to advanced levels in making a film scene with participation from major international and local companies.
Hakaya focuses on the content creation industry, writing, art, animation and production. This event provides youth with the opportunity to realize their artistic talent and ambitions by creating actual works according to their specific vision throughout Hakaya Misk’s diverse programmes, workshops and platforms.
Hakaya Misk travels across various Saudi cities to offer a vast range of training opportunities and programmes to young creative talents.
