The Show Services, a subsidiary of Roya Media Group, has announced the production of Haretna Daiga, a social comedy series set to premiere during Ramadan 2025. The series offers a lighthearted take on life in a traditional neighbourhood, using humour and relatable characters to highlight the essence and dynamics of community living.
Featuring a distinguished Jordanian cast, Haretna Daiga marks the first-ever collaboration between veteran actor Zuheir Al-Nubani and Hussein Tbeishat. The cast also includes Sharif Al-Zoubi and rising talent Joanna Areeda, adding a fresh and dynamic presence to the show.
The storyline follows two retired friends, Aref and Wajih, as they compete for the title of “Mukhtar” (leader) of their neighbourhood. Their rivalry, fueled by the involvement of local residents, unfolds into a series of comedic events, showcasing the sense of community and camaraderie that defines neighbourhood life.
Spanning 15 episodes, Haretna Daiga will be a key part of Roya’s Ramadan 2025 Comedy Hour, offering families an entertaining and laughter-filled experience. The series presents an opportunity to witness the comedic chemistry between Al-Nubani and Tbeishat.
