Deborah Clifford currently serves as the Vice President of Financial Planning and analysis at Autodesk, a 3D design, engineering and entertainment software company.
Video delivery services provider, Harmonic has expanded the company’s board of directors with the appointment of Deborah Clifford.
Speaking about the appointment, Patrick Harshman, President and CEO of Harmonic, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Debbie to our board. Her strong finance and operational leadership experience will be an asset to Harmonic as we continue to shape the future of video and broadband service delivery through innovations in video SaaS and virtualised cable access solutions.”
Clifford currently serves as the Vice President of Financial Planning and analysis at Autodesk, a 3D design, engineering and entertainment software company. Most recently, she has been a lead architect of Autodesk’s transformation from selling perpetual licenses to becoming a SaaS provider.
“Harmonic has developed a smarter, faster and simpler approach to gigabit cable access and video streaming that is unique to the industry. I look forward to helping the company continue its cloud-native and SaaS transformation, with a focus on increasing growth and profitability,” said Deborah .
Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a business specialisation from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She currently serves on the board of trustees of GeoHazards International, a non-profit organisation dedicated to disaster prevention in the developing world.
