To celebrate two decades since the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, the saga’s first film is returning to theatres in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, only for today, January 20.
Directed by Chris Columbus and starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Richard Harris, Maggie Smith and Robbie Coltrane, the adventurous fantasy film tells the story of an orphaned boy, Harry Potter, who enrolls in a school of wizardry, where he learns the truth about himself, his family and the terrible evil that haunts the magical world.
The re-release is in celebration of the franchise’s 20th anniversary and is timed with the Harry Potter retrospective special: Return to Hogwarts, which is available on OSN Streaming along with all eight movies.
Fans who purchase tickets to the re-release will have the chance to be among the first to see Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, which is the latest adventure in the Harry Potter universe. The new film releases on April 28, 2022.
