Hayy Jameel has announced an open call for screenwriters and actors to participate in a series of workshops aimed at fostering creative talent. The workshops offer three distinct educational opportunities catering to individuals passionate about storytelling and performance, according to a report by Scene Now.
Renowned writer Hani Ka’ador, recognised for his work on Alhamour H.A. (2023) and Shams Al-Ma’arif (2020), will conduct a screenwriting workshop on May 17–18. Ka’ador’s expertise extends to his involvement in Takki, a Netflix-acquired show.
On May 24–25, actors Ismail Al-Hassan and Baraa Alem, known for their roles in Shams Al-Ma’arif (2020) and other productions, will lead an acting masterclass. Participants can benefit from their extensive experience in the industry.
Director Ali Attalas, whose film And When Do I Sleep? (2020) earned the Golden Palm at the Saudi Film Festival, will offer insights into the collaborative dynamics between writers and actors. This workshop, scheduled for May 31–June 1, presents a valuable opportunity for both writers and performers.
Individuals interested in attending these workshops are encouraged to apply by May 10 through Hayy Jameel’s official website.
