Egypt-based production company and incubator HerStory Films has launched its first international film incubator in Bahrain. HerStory Films is founded by mediapreneur May Abdel Asim and actress Mona Zaki.
Established in collaboration with Bahrain’s Ministry of Information and the Bahrain Film Festival, this incubator will support female creatives as they develop and produce their short films. The initiative marks a major milestone for HerStory Films, which seeks to foster talent beyond Egypt by providing a platform for innovative female voices in the film industry.
Applications for the program will be announced soon by the Bahrain Film Festival.
