The second season will feature more than 20 local businesses and have been selected through an evaluation process consisting of five stages.
Hope Ventures, the Bahraini investment arm of Hope Fund, is inviting potential local entrepreneurs to register and take part in the second season of Bahrain’s entrepreneurial reality TV show, Beban.
Beban, which means doors in Arabic, signifies the various doors of opportunity that open in real life.
Beban‘s second season comes in response to the successful conclusion of its first season, which acted as a platform to bring ambitious entrepreneurs together with corporate entities and private investors, allowing them to take their business to the next level.
Commenting on the second season, Aymen bin Tawfeeq Almoayed, Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs and Hope Fund Chairman, said: “Beban creates mutually beneficial opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors from multiple sectors to expand their businesses and turn their visions into a reality. We are pleased to launch a second season of the show, and look forward to greater success stories as we actively contribute towards growing Bahraini businesses locally, regionally and globally.”
Fajer Al Pachachi, General Manager of Hope Ventures, added: “We look forward to utilising the show’s second season as a chance to introduce more Bahraini businesses to the market. Beban provides local entrepreneurs with a platform to exhibit their businesses and further develop their offerings. The second season will showcase a larger number of promising participants, and foster a deeper understanding of business and local investment among the audience. We’d like to invite all local entrepreneurs to come forward with their concepts and apply to participate in Beban, wishing them the best of luck in developing their business ideas and creating their success stories.”
The new season of the show is set to welcome over 20 local businesses, who will be selected through an evaluation process comprised of five stages; starting with screening businesses for viability based on certain criteria, followed by an evaluation stage led by experts and specialists in the business sector. Candidates will then be nominated to take part in a training stage, which will begin towards Q4 2022. The final stage will announce the eligible finalists, who will then go on to film the production’s episodes.
Hope Ventures invites all those within the local community to share their business ideas by sending an email to Hello@hopefund.bh or by registering online through the website.
