HP presented collaborative education solutions in the Dubai International Academic City campus. Take a peek into the HP truck at Dubai’s Academic City. At the ‘HP Freedom to Learn on the Go! Educational Truck Tour’, BroadcastPro ME had a glimpse of the HP solutions for the students of today and the professionals of tomorrow.
During the truck tour at Academic City, complete with drummers outside to attract students, HP provided students, teachers, staff and faculty with a hands-on experience of the latest HP products and innovations. These solutions aim to facilitate and help transform the learning experience by providing more collaboration in the classroom as well as enable the professional development for teachers outside the classroom.
Speaking to BroadcastPro ME, Michael Zagray, sales manager, Corporate Enterprise Public, HP PSG, said, “The purpose of us demonstrating our products here at Academic City, was to allow students and teachers experience the HP solutions for individual users and for the classroom environment. In addition, we have showcased our solutions for various vertical markets including broadcasting, engineering/architecture, banking and oil and gas, among other sectors. We recognise that the students today will be professionals tomorrow and we are giving them a glimpse into the various ways HP can be part of their lives in the future.”
Among the solutions for professionals was the Workstation z800, Z210 + performance monitors, Thin Clients, Zero Client and T5570, 6200 MT Desktop (server), Elite Book 8760w, 3420 all-in-one desktop and the Elitebook 6460, among other solutions, for corporates, banks, oil and gas professionals, architects, engineers and studio personnel.
