Icflix will show seven new series during the holy month of Ramadan.
The list includes, Wesh Tany, Al Ahd, Al Salook, Yawmiyat Zoga Mafrusa Awy, Hawary Bucharest, Alf Leila we Leila and Khalil Allah, an animation series aimed at children.
There is great demand for TV series during the month of Ramadan, as people spend more time at home. There will be action, drama, comedy and thriller. There will be something for everyone during this family bonding time, said Carlos Tibi, CEO, icflix.
The recently announced series, Alf Leila we Leila will premiere exclusively on icflix for online streaming only. The series is based on the historically acclaimed fantasy folk tales, bringing to life the stories of treachery and nobility of the ruler Shehryar and his wife Scheherazade.
Also the animation series Khalil Allah, will adhere to the spirit of Ramadan, which will aim to educate children and strengthen their knowledge of Islam as well as their Arabic language skills, Tibi further added.
