Icflix has released Al Makida, the second of its 12 original productions, to its subscribers.
A crime thriller, Al Makida is set in the luxurious suburbs of Cairo where one household struggles to survive.
Commenting on the plot, director, Ahmed Hassan, said: Al Makida is a deeply engaging thriller. We handpicked a team of fresh talent from Egypt to star alongside seasoned actors Karim Abdel Khalek, Nour Mahmoud and Moustafa Abdel Salam. Although the movie has been produced in Arabic, it will be available with English and French subtitles, making it accessible to a wider audience.
