Subscribers are watching more than 60,000+ hours of content every month on icflix, a number that is rapidly rising as OTT consumption continues to grow in the region, the company has announced.
Carlos Tibi, Founder and CEO, at icflix said: Theres an apparent trend towards increased viewing online, particularly amongst young people as they want uninterrupted viewing and want to watch what they want and when they want.
They are also more inclined to leveraging their devices as their personal viewing instruments. As a result we have seen a big jump on access from mobile devices.
Also with bigger content acquisition and original content production, icflix continues to grow bigger and bigger.
Whilst Hollywood content is licensed for the MENA region, the Jazwood (Arabic) and Bollywood content is licensed for global streaming.
