Details of the first co-production under this agreement will be announced in the coming months.
Inter Medya, a Turkish production and distribution company, has announced a new co-production agreement in collaboration with MGE, a distribution company holding broadcasting rights for Chile, and Mas Ros Media.
The companies believe the partnership will “usher in a new era of captivating content for global audiences,” with a detailed slate of productions set to be disclosed in the coming months.
MGE, based in Miami, serves as the distribution arm for Mega, a prominent Chilean broadcaster. Mega’s content is distributed internationally, reaching audiences beyond Chile, and includes a diverse range of programming catering to Latin America and the US Hispanic markets.
Mas Ros Media (MRM), on the other hand, is an eSports and gaming entity launched earlier this year by Santana, the former President of Telemundo Global Studios.
Speaking about the deal, Can Okan, Founder and CEO of Inter Medya, said: “We are thrilled to embark on this exciting co-production venture with MGE. Our shared commitment to high-quality content will undoubtedly result in a slate of exceptional productions.”
Esperanza Garay, CEO of MGE, added: “In MGE, we believe in the power of stories to bring global audiences together, and we are excited to continue collaborating with creative talent and strategic partners as Inter Medya and Mas Ros Media to produce unique and meaningful entertainment experiences.”
Ignacio Barrera, President of Distribution and Acquisitions at Mas Ros Media, who acted as a consultant for this deal, stated: “We are excited to work with global production and distribution leaders from Turkey and Latin America to pool resources and know how to produce successful content.”
