The project, also produced by Yeşil Yapım, is internationally distributed by Inter Medya.
Turkey’s distribution company, Inter Medya, has announced the licensing of the Turkish series Love and Pride to Panama.
Set to premiere soon for Panamanian audiences, Love and Pride is the first project under the co-production agreement between Inter Medya and Mega Global Entertainment (MGE).
Inter Medya is spearheading the international distribution of the series, a collaborative effort between MGE, Inter Medya, and Yeşil Yapım.
In a statement, Inter Medya representatives said: “Love and Pride encompasses all the elements international audiences expect from a Turkish drama and was previously licensed in Romania and other countries. Many more agreements are in the pipeline for this successful series.”
Directed by Murat Şenoy, the series revolves around the Köksoylars, a once-wealthy family living in an ancestral mansion. With three daughters and their fortune dwindling, the family faces impending ruin. In their desperation, Tolga, the heir to another affluent family, appears as a potential saviour. The family considers marrying their eldest daughter, Mercan, to Tolga to secure their future. However, Mercan finds Tolga arrogant and resists the arrangement despite a mutual attraction.
As Mercan’s pride and Tolga’s spoiled demeanour create barriers, the middle daughter, Gül, passionately desires Tolga. He shifts his focus to Gül, drifting toward marriage, but his heart remains with Mercan, who also falls in love with him. With the girls’ mother pushing for a swift marriage to avert financial disaster, the unfolding drama reveals that Tolga, too, seeks this union for his own salvation.
