The project, also produced by Yeşil Yapım, is internationally distributed by Inter Medya.
Inter Medya has announced the licensing of the Turkish series Love and Pride to Romania, marking another milestone in its recent string of sales agreements in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region.
Set to premiere soon for Romanian audiences, Love and Pride is the inaugural project under the co-production agreement between Inter Medya and Mega Global Entertainment (MGE).
Inter Medya is spearheading the international distribution of the series, a collaborative effort between MGE, Inter Medya, and Yeşil Yapım.
Directed by Murat Şenoy, the series revolves around the Köksoylars, a once-wealthy family living in an ancestral mansion. With three daughters and their fortune dwindling, the family faces impending ruin. In their desperation, Tolga, the heir to another affluent family, appears as a potential saviour. The family considers marrying their eldest daughter, Mercan, to Tolga to secure their future. However, Mercan finds Tolga arrogant and resists the arrangement despite a mutual attraction.
As Mercan’s pride and Tolga’s spoiled demeanour create barriers, the middle daughter, Gül, passionately desires Tolga. He shifts his focus to Gül, drifting toward marriage, but his heart remains with Mercan, who also falls in love with him. With the girls’ mother pushing for a swift marriage to avert financial disaster, the unfolding drama reveals that Tolga, too, seeks this union for his own salvation.
Inter Medya’s CEO Can Okan commented on the series’ licensing, emphasising the company’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the CEE region through storytelling and strategic partnerships.
