International Media Investments (IMI), the privately-owned media investment group, has appointed two seasoned professionals to its Executive Management Team. Rania Masri El Khatib takes on the role of Chief Brand and Marcomms Officer, while Sharif Badreddine assumes the position of Chief Revenue Officer. Both executives will report directly to Rani R. Raad, IMI’s Chief Executive Officer.
These strategic appointments mark a pivotal phase in IMI’s journey as it endeavours to evolve into a forward-thinking global media powerhouse.

Rania Masri El Khatib, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in brand and marketing, joins IMI from her previous role as Chief Transformation Officer at Chalhoub Group, the Middle East’s major luxury retail organisation. In her new position, Rania will spearhead brand strategy, Marketing, Communications, and Creative functions at IMI, aiming to connect with audiences on multiple levels in a fast-paced and information-rich world.

Sharif Badreddine brings over 25 years of experience in the media and advertising industry, with a notable stint as Group Director of Commercial at MBC Group. His visionary leadership and strategic innovation have left a significant impact on organisations and high-profile brands across various sectors and regions. As Chief Revenue Officer at IMI, Sharif will lead the Commercial team, driving product innovation and revenue growth.
