Recently, Calemzuk assumed an advisory role within the management team of Reshet 13
Israeli TV network Reshet 13 has appointed industry veteran Emiliano Calemzuk, an alum of Shine Group Americas, Fox Television Studios and Fox International Channels Europe, as the new CEO. The announcement was made by the board of Reshet, which is backed by Access Entertainment and WBD.
Calemzuk steps into his new role at Reshet 13, a channel renowned for popular shows like Big Brother, Got Talent, and local drama Red Skies, replacing Yoram Altman, who departed several months ago.
With a background spanning prestigious companies like Shine Group Americas, Fox Television Studios, and Fox International Channels Europe, Calemzuk brings a wealth of experience to his new position. His past roles include serving as President of Fox Television Studios and CEO of Shine Group Americas, where he spearheaded the production of acclaimed series such as The Office, Ugly Betty, The Shield, and The Americans.
During his tenure at Fox International Channels Europe, Calemzuk played a pivotal role in the launch of SKY Italia in 2002, overseeing multi-channel operations across various European countries. His diverse experience also includes holding the position of General Manager at Fox Kids Latin America in 1999.
In addition to his corporate roles, Calemzuk has ventured into entrepreneurship, co-founding companies like Raze, now part of WBD Latin America, and offering strategic counsel to prominent entities such as Time Inc, Sony Entertainment Ventures (India), and Israeli startup Deepdub.
Nadav Topolski, Chairman of the Reshet Board, expressed confidence in Calemzuk’s ability to lead the network to greater success, citing his extensive track record in the media and entertainment industry.
Calemzuk himself commented on the appointment, emphasising the importance of creativity and hard work in achieving collective success for Reshet 13, the State of Israel, and its people.
