A panel discussion with Joana Vicente, CEO of Sundance Institute, will also take place at the festival, moderated by Osnat Handelsman-Keren.
Jerusalem Film Festival has announced its Industry Days programme for its 40th edition, which includes 10 projects for its Pitch Point Competition for Israeli co-production features.
The Jerusalem Industry Days, taking place July 13-15, represent one pillar of the festival’s efforts to connect Israeli directors with international partners.
The Industry Days will also host the final pitching session for the Sam Spiegel International Film Lab on July 14.
Nir Bergman, Tomer Heymann and Yona Rozenkier will be among the Israeli filmmakers presenting new projects at the Jerusalem Film Fest’s Pitch Point event this year.
A jury presided over by Olivier Père (Arte Cinema France) includes Thorsten Ritter (Beta Cinema), Kevin Chan (MUBI) and Claudia Solano (The Match Factory), alongside Helge Albers (MOIN, Hamburg Film Fund) and producer Yael Fogiel (Les Films du Poisson).
The programme will also feature an industry talk with Joana Vicente, CEO of Sundance Institute, moderated by Israeli producer Osnat Handelsman-Keren.
There will also be a focus on Austria, with Austrian Films’ Anne Laurent-Delage and Emilie Dauptain, as well as producers Antonin Svoboda (coop99), Oliver Neumann (FreibeuterFilm), Sabine Gruber (Golden Girls) and Barbara Pichler (KGP Filmproduktion).
The Pitch Point and Sam Spiegel Lab award ceremony will take place on July 15.
