Egyptian filmmaker Mohammed Diab, along with Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead, directed the upcoming series.
Jordanian actress and producer Saba Mubarak is a part of the final episode of the Moon Knight series, which will be shown on Disney+ this week.
The character “Ammit”, which is played by actress Sophia al-Asir, will be voiced by Mubarak. The goddess Ammit was one of the leading characters of Moon Knight episode six.
Moon Knight is Mubarak’s first blockbuster appearance, but her career boasts TV shows and movies of various genres, including 2015’s fantasy TV show The Covenant. Mubarak already collaborated with Moon Knight lead director Mohamed Diab in 2021’s drama Amira, where she played the protagonist’s mother, Warda. Besides Moon Knight, Mubarak appeared in two other TV shows in 2022, including Suits’ Egyptian adaptation of the same name, where she played Farida, a lawyer. In 2011, Saba Mubarak founded Pan East Media, a media production company, with the objective of creating authentic audio-visual content in Jordan.
The series is produced by Kevin Feige, along with Tommy Turtle and Jeremy Slater. Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab directed the upcoming series along with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
