Prior to joining Vislink, he held several key leadership roles, where he was instrumental in driving advancements in RF system design, software development and digital beamforming technologies.
Vislink Technologies has announced the appointment of Joseph Lipowski as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Lipowski, an expert in RF and wireless technologies, brings more than 20 years of experience in leading technical teams and solving complex communication challenges.
In his new role at Vislink, Lipowski will focus on enhancing the company’s technological capabilities, ensuring it continues to deliver cutting-edge live video and data solutions tailored to meet the evolving demands of its customers.

Lipowski has a long track record of spearheading innovative projects that have set new benchmarks in the communications sector. Prior to joining Vislink, he held key leadership roles, including as Co-Founder and CTO of Starry, Inc., a wireless internet service provider, and Aereo, Inc., a live video streaming service. His previous experience also includes senior engineering positions at LoJack, Lucent and Andrew Corporation. His expertise extends to streamlining supply chain processes, ensuring that technology solutions are both innovative and cost-effective.
Lipowski holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
