JVC Professional has announced the appointments of Paddy Taylor as Regional Sales Manager for MEA and Mars Orozov as Middle East CCTV Sales Manager. Paddy has over 15 years professional video experience, most recently as Sales Director of aQ broadcast and previously with Autocue and Avid. He brings a wealth of knowledge from both the broadcast and post production sectors, relocating to Dubai to run the business unit for JVC Professional MEA.
Im excited to make the switch; people always say its a great opportunity when starting out in a new role but in my case, I really mean it! The Middle East, African and Pakistan markets are all growing rapidly and the new camcorder products that JVC has just released will keep us at the top of the game. With the recently-launched GY-LS300CHE handheld Super 35mm 4K camera and the GW-SP100E 4K remote head camera system, we have products that are considerably ahead of our rivals.
Mars Orozov joins Taylor at JVC Professional, working in the Middle East office, bringing over nine years GCC experience in the security industry, including CCTV, access control, intrusion and home automation systems. Mars has most recently worked at Honeywell Security Group, supporting customers in the Middle East and Levant territories. Mars speaks fluent Arabic and has a good working knowledge of project requirements across the region; he is now responsible for developing and supporting the channel partner network in the Middle East.
