Kanal D International has announced a new agreement for its acclaimed Turkish drama A Father’s Promise. The series is now scheduled to make its debut in Kosovo, offering local audiences a captivating narrative set against the backdrop of a politically tumultuous era.
The drama, produced by PastelFilm, features Salih Bademci, Hazal Subaşı, Ozan Dolunay, Perihan Savaş, and Özge Özberk.
Set in the year 1980, A Father’s Promise intricately weaves the tale of Mustafa, a determined factory worker grappling with severe financial hardships as he strives to secure a life-saving operation for his wife, Canan.
Facing rejection from his unsympathetic employer, Mustafa finds himself on the run from authorities, ultimately leaving his daughter Cemre in the care of an orphanage, where the affluent Rona family later adopts her. With the help of the compassionate housekeeper Figen, Mustafa devises a plan to infiltrate the Rona household, driven by his unwavering desire to remain close to his daughter.
