Adi Brukner and Elena Antonini will report to Kelly Wright, KI's Managing Director of Distribution.
Keshet International (KI) has made two key hires to boost the distribution arm of its business ahead of Mipcom 2023, appointing international sales and co-production executive Elena Antonini to the role of Vice President of Sales and sales executive Adi Brukner to the position of Sales Manager.
Elena Antonini, an international sales and co-production executive, will be based in Buenos Aires. She is tasked with leading KI’s sales efforts for formats, scripted and unscripted finished tape across Latin America, the Hispanic-speaking networks in the US, as well as Spain and Portugal. Antonini brings more than 15 years of experience in the content distribution and co-production business, having previously served at Paramount (formerly ViacomCBS) for five years, most recently as Director of Content Sales & Co-Productions, and prior to that, she spent a decade at Dori Media. Reporting to KI’s MD of Distribution, Kelly Wright, Elena officially joined the team at the beginning of this month.
Speaking about the appointment, Kelly Wright commented: “With her experience in both distribution and co-production in Latin America, we are so pleased that Elena has joined the KI Sales team, alongside Adi. Elena’s extensive network and know-how will prove invaluable to growing our distribution, development, and production business in the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets. With Mipcom 2023 just around the corner, now is the perfect time to boost our Sales team as we take our biggest delegation to market since 2019 to support our exciting new slate of dramas and factual content.”
Elena Antonini added: “I’m thrilled to be joining Keshet International as the company continues to strengthen its position as a key player in the international content business, bolstered by quality IP from Keshet 12 in Israel, its production arms in the US, UK and Germany, and third-party partners around the world. I can’t wait to immerse myself in their incredible catalogue and get to work alongside the rest of the talented Sales team!”
Adi Brukner, KI’s new Sales Manager for Asia, Africa, and SE Europe, joins the team after a two-year stint at Armoza Formats. Based in Israel, Brukner will oversee sales of KI’s formats, scripted and unscripted finished tape across Asia, Africa, and SE Europe, including Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, and Israel. Brukner will also report to Kelly Wright.
