The Saudi Arabian telecommunications services company, Mobily and the video on-demand service Starz Play have signed a new method-of-payment partnership that makes Starz Play available to Mobily subscribers.
Through the partnership, Mobily customers can now sign up to Starz Play service and make payments directly through their Mobily account. Subscribers can access more than 10,000 thousand hours of Hollywood and Bollywood movies, same-time-as-the-US TV shows, documentaries, kids entertainment and a lot of the dedicated Arabic productions content, all ad-free and in HD or and 4K quality, the release stated.
Commenting on the partnership, Maaz Sheikh, CEO and Co-founder of Starz Play, said: With the Saudi Arabian entertainment industry opening up, our brand-new partnership with Mobily extends our reach to a wider audience and takes our service direct to all of Mobilys subscribers, which represents approximately 28% of the 54 million mobile subscribers in the Kingdom.
