Khaled Marei directed the screenplay written by Amin Gamal and Mohamed Mehrez.
Egyptian comedy film Nabil El-Gamil Akhisaay Tagmeel (Nabil El-Gamil Plastic Surgeon), starring Mohamed Henedy and Nour, will release in the theatre on December 28.
After a five-year absence, Lebanese actress Nour returns to the big screen alongside Mohamed Henedy.
Director Khaled Marei is helming the film based on an idea by Henedy and a script by Amin Gamal and Mohamed Mahrez.
Earlier this month, the film’s production company, Target Productions, dropped the film’s official poster, which includes Nour and Henedy, along with comedy actors Mohamed Sallam, Mahmoud Hafez, Rahma Ahmed, Ahmed Fouad Selim, and Mohamed El-Sawy.
The thriller comedy film follows the story of a plastic surgeon who goes through several comical situations with his colleague.
Additionally, Nour’s latest TV drama Family Matter is now streaming on Shahid, in which she co-stars with Maged El-Kedwany, Rana Raeis, Mohamed Shahin, Samaa Ibrahem, Mohamed Radwan, and Mohamed Alqass.
In 2000, Nour made her first foray into the big screen with Short W Fanelah W Cap opposite Egyptian star Ahmed El-Sakka, followed by several successful roles, including Ashab Wala Business (2001), Izzay Tekhali El-Banat Tehibbak (2003), Sana Oula Nasb (2004), and Sayed El Atifi (2005) — in which she starred opposite Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny in his first leading role.
Her small-screen repertoire includes many TV hits, such as Al-Ameel 1001, Domoa Al Qamar (2008), and seasons one and two of Saraya Abdeen (2014-2015) — which featured a star-studded cast from Egypt and the Arab world.
In Ramadan 2022, Nour starred in the series Rageen Ya Hawa alongside Egyptian star Khaled El-Nabaw under the direction of Mohamed Salama and based on a story by the late renowned writer Osama Anwar Okasha, featuring a screenplay adapted by Mohamed Soliman Abdel-Malek.
Nour was recently part of the Best Arab Film Award Jury at the 2022 Cairo International Film Festival.
