The series have already driven ratings for linear and non-linear broadcasters across the MENA region.
Turkish distributor Madd Entertainment has announced remarkable growth in its business across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, positioning MENA as one of Madd’s top sales territories.
Managing Director of Madd Entertainment Ateş İnce said: “MENA has always held a pivotal position in Madd’s strategy. These nations have a deep-rooted affinity for Turkish drama, and their audiences demand excellence. With our top-tier series and agile response, Madd is exceptionally equipped to meet this demand.”
Sales have surged across various platforms, encompassing both free TV channels and digital streaming services spanning over 20 countries in the region. The current surge in growth has been driven by newly-launched series, swiftly gaining traction in MENA. Notable titles include Wild Heart, My Wonderful Life, The Brave, Dirty Laundry, No Mercy, and Blooming Lady, the latest addition fresh from its premiere in Turkey.
Many of these series adopt a strategy of immediate broadcast in MENA following their Turkish debut, acknowledging the interconnected nature of today’s audience. This approach has proven successful in bolstering ratings for both linear and non-linear broadcasters across the MENA region, reflecting Madd Entertainment’s adaptability and foresight in catering to evolving viewer preferences.
