Majid Al Futtaim has launched a brand-new VOX Cinemas multiplex in Al Ain at Al Jimi Mall. This launch comes within the space of a week of VOX Cinemas announcing its presence in three countries, including nine screens in City Centre in Oman on 22 January and the first Jeddah multiplex opening in KSA on 29 January.
Speaking about the launch, Cameron Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer at Majid Al Futtaim Leisure, Entertainment and Cinemas said: Al Ain residents are frequent guests of our VOX Cinemas locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Around 63,000 of our website and app users are from Al Ain and we are excited to now offer them our signature world-class VOX Cinemas experiences right on their doorstep.
The multiplex will feature Vox Cinemas MAX, which includes Dolby Atomos surround sound and dual projector systems for crisp digital imagery as well as its KIDS and premium THEATRE by Rhodes concepts. With films spanning all genres, from action-packed movies to animated family-friendly content, VOX Cinemas at Al Ain will customise screenings based on customer feedback.
Opening films will include Glass starring James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, and Samuel Jackson, the Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika and The Kid Who Would Be King.
