Warner Bros. Discovery reported acceleration in its Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business in Q3 of 2024, driven by subscription additions on its Max platform. In total, Max delivered 7.2 million net subscriber adds, the strongest quarterly gain since the platform’s launch. The company’s global DTC subscribers touched 110.5 million at the end of Q3, with figures split roughly 50/50 between international and domestic subscribers. Total Q3 revenues were $9.6bn, a 3% reduction on the previous quarter.
