MBC Group has announced a string of special safety and educational features catering to children of all ages on its streaming platform Shahid. The features aim to limit kids’ access to what is chosen for them while also helping them work on their Arabic-language skills due to the availability of Arabic dubbing.
The safety features include parental controls in which parents can set up an independent profile for their kids that is completely different from those of other users. Young viewers cannot always exit their profile without a four-digit pin to ensure safe viewing.
Further, users can access Shahid VIP on up to five different devices and also watch two different shows on two different devices at the same time. A number of kids’ TV channels are streamed live via Shahid VIP including MBC3, Spacetoon, and Cartoon Network.
Shahid VIP has also revealed a new content line-up for kids this month which includes Bilal: A New Breed of Hero, Lego Marvel: Avengers Reassembled, Lego Marvel: Maximum Overload, and Lego City Adventures.
The line-up also includes Nickelodeon shows including Dora the Explorer, Paw Patrol, Shimmer and Shine and Bubble Guppies.
